Today I met a friend who is going through a divorce...
She shared that she has been married for 8 years.
She confesses that she wouldn't have made the move, if it had not been for this person she met.
As I watched her facial expression when she describes how she had felt over the last8 years, I couldn't help but to reflect what I was going through...
Lucky for her, she claimed that she has found her "true love"... Little did I know that soon after, her knight-in-shining-armour appeared and joined us for a bit.
I managed to sit back and watched what looked like two people who were smitten by each other...
I remembered this warm fuzzy feeling... I wish I could re-live this moment again but for now, I'm just happy knowing that if indeed this friend of mine has found her eternal bliss, I'd like to wish her all the best & hope this one would last...
I was amazed though that they were both not bothered about being seen together as my friend has yet to go through her divorce, and given that they were both at a place where everyone knew their identity and their marital status... This is why I've always concluded that love will defy all odds... and so the power of love continues...
Earlier today too, I had another friend who has just called me to find out how I'm doing..
It was funny that she said that she misses my silly jokes, when I shared with her that I've recently magically happened to lose my handphone again for the 100th time..and that everytime this happens, I never fail to learn my lesson...
She giggled and said that this was how she has always remembered me...
Hmmm..it got me thinking for a while there, how would people remember me if I do "move on"...
And just a few minutes ago, I had another unexpected "hello, how-r-u-doin?" on my facebook from a good friend during StanChart days..
I guess I never really know I have a lot of people who cares about me until days like this surfaces...
So, back to my own question earlier today about whether I went through a state of depression during my "pantang" or even during the entire tenure of my recent pregnancy, I guess I'll never know... but what I DO know is that I hope to put those feelings behind me...and move on as life has more to offer and I am certain that He has greater plans for me...*smile* - trying to keep it all positive :)
